The department of Commerce,
St.Mary’s College, Thrissur organised a panel discussion on the topic income
tax return filing on 20th July,2023 through the online platform. The
programme was organised as a social awareness programme in wake of the return
filing issues faced by salaried employees particularly teachers of educational
institutions. The distinguished panel comprised of highly experienced Chartered
Accountants CA. Amal George and CA Babitha T.E who were able to answer all the
queries raised by the moderator . The
moderator, Mr. Sojan Joseph ,Taxation Professor was a person of exceptional
knowledge in this field. The discussion turned out to be a resounding success
by active participation by teachers of various reputed neighbouring colleges.
