PANEL OF EXPERTS
Dr. Sunil T.T. is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of RAS, IAS & SPS. He is a member of the Academic Council, Kerala
Technological University, CUSAT Senate and Kerala State curriculum committee. As a proponent of FOSS technology, he
has been invited to give expert comments on several technology and cyber security issues on Television debates. He has
conducted Faculty Development Programs (FDP) to popularise FOSS in collaboration with agencies such as AICTE, ICFOSS
and KTU. He has a special interest in laws related to information technology, digital rights and privacy. His current research
interests are in gesture recognition and computer vision as applied to Indian classical dances.
Dr. Jijo P. Ulahannan is a physicist, science communicator, EduTech consultant and TED Fellow. He is a Senior Member of
the IEEE and a member in the Electron Devices Society, the Computational Intelligence Society and SPIE, the international
society for Optics and Photonics. He is specialised in Nanophotonics and Computational Physics. He is the Founder and
Head of the Open Data Lab at Govt. College Kasaragod. He was elected as the TEDIndia Fellow in 2009 and received the
Visitor Fellowship from the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) at TIFR Mumbai in 2018. He is a subject
expert for the SERTC and Literacy Mission of Kerala.
Dr. Vimal Kumar V. is the Reference Assistant (Documentation Section) at Mahatma Gandhi University Library, Kottayam.
He has finished PhD in Library and Information Science from Mahatma Gandhi University. He is a proponent of Open
Source computing and Open Access publishing. He is an expert in Linux (Debian, Ubuntu), Dspace, and Koha Library
Software. He has published several books on Open Access computing and publication. He maintains some blogs to sharpen
the skills of academic and library professionals. His Koha Geek blog is popular among library professionals. He has served as
Live DVD Manager for the Koha (version 3.12) project.
Mr. Jasimudeen is a Member of the Board of Studies, Library and Information Science, Mahatma Gandhi University,
Kottayam. He is a Working Group Member of Open Access India and a research team member of HOPE Study India, and
India Knowledge Collective. He is the Executive Editor and Web Admin of Health Infonet E-Learning Portal, a new academic
initiative to disseminate health literacy to members of various Institutions.
Mr. J.S. Anantha Krishnan is a translator, orator and literary columnist. He was the Prime Minister’s Fellow under YUVA
Mentoring Young Authors Project organized by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. He is the youngest translator
of Thirukkural to English. He was a part of the experimental South Indian literary project “The Stretched Angles”. He has
received national and international awards, including the Kerala Balasahithya Academy Award 2022, the Asian Education
Award for Best Young Teacher 2021, and the Institute of Scholars’ Young Achiever Award 2021. He is the Founder and
Editor of the literary website The Wordwatch. His research areas include Artificial Intelligence, Digital Humanities, and New
Media Studies.
Mr. Jinto Michael, currently serving as the Director of Lore & Ed Research Associates Pvt Ltd and a Research Scholar at
Lincoln University College in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, holds a masters degree in English. He embarked on his professional
journey as an ad-hoc faculty member in institutes under Mahatma Gandhi University, later transitioning into the
entrepreneurial sphere. With a specialization in theatre and performance studies, he is particularly focused on the
exploration of folk theatre. He authored/co-authored academic books and research articles and presented papers in
national and international conferences. His blend of academic and entrepreneurial experiences, positions him as an essential
contributor to both the academic community and the edutech industry
