St Joseph's college, Iringalakuda: Botany department of St. Joseph's college, irinjalakuda payed a floral tribute to the evergreen hero of the Indian Green Revolution, M.S. Swaminathan on September 29 at 10 am. Principal Dr. Sr. Blessy addressed condolences and homage to the versatile man behind the Indian agricultural prosperity. BSc Botany final year student Dhanya K.P talked about his works and major milestones in his life. A video presentation on the same was conducted to make students more aware about his great service in the field of agriculture. The faculty and students of botany department visited the agricultural centre guided by the assistant agricultural officer M.K Unni and Alphy on the same day.
