National Voters day is celebrated @ Mercy College, Palakkad

National Voters day is celebrated on  25th of January every year. It is celebrated to spread awareness among the voters of the country and importance of voting process in democracy. 

This year as a part of celebrating National Voters Day,  National Service Scheme of Mercy College, Palakkad arranged a flashmob and a skit in front of the Palakkad Collectorate on 25th January Thursday. 

Later on a discussion was conducted in the collectorate regarding the same. Honourable Assistant Collector of Palakkad district Sri. Alfred OV addressed the students with some valuable words. Renowned Indian young athlete and Olympian Sri. Murali Sreesankar was also present in the discussion and with his encouraging words, he motivated the young crowd present there.

Overall the day was made colourful and informative at the same time by the NSS volunteers of Mercy College.
