Homestead farming provides a diversity of fresh food that improve the quality and quantity of nutrients to the family.
The production of nutrienional food provide the house hold with direct access to nutrients that may not be readily available within their economic reach. Homestead farming is self sustaining farm unit . By growing a variety of crops farmers avoid economic risk and are less at risk to extreme price fluctuations associated with supply and demand. Therefore homestead farming definitely part of our daily life.
