THE FUTURE OF FARMING CULTURE

In Today's world the word 'FARMING CULTURE' is often less used,as it is facing a major decline, why is this happening? Our changing lifestyle, wants, lack of water, lack of fertile land can all be considered as contributing factors to this situation. But what can be done to overcome this situation. The first solution that pops up is HOMESTEAD FARMING, it is often associated with self-sufficiency and sustainability. It involves small scale agricultural activities practised by individuals or familes on their home or on their own land.

Homestead farming hold the ability to provide fresh and nutritious crops, vegetables and fruits directly to houseolds. This drastically decreases the consumption of commercialy produced food crops.

This farming culture also serves as a form of economic empowerment, allowing individuals to generate personal income through the sale of surplus stock that they may achieve.

Moreover, it creates opportunities for skill-building for individuals in the sector of farming like learning about various agricultural practices, food preservation. etc. Overall, homestead farming plays a vital role in promoting sustainable development in our fast paced dynamic society.
