"ACT GREEN TODAY FOR A GREENER TOMORROW"
On the auspicious occasion of World Environment Day, the Department of Management in Don Bosco College, Mannuthy celebrated its 19th anniversary with a profound commitment to environmental sustainability. Sri Mathi Beena Murali graced our college as the esteemed guest, adding prestige to our event. To commemorate this special day, we organized a tree plantation initiative. In line with the college's anniversary, we distributed saplings to 19 households within our community.
The assortment of plants included papaya, custard apple, spinach, and rambutan, symbolizing our dedication to biodiversity and green living. The distribution of saplings was a collaborative effort, with Principal Rev. Dr. Fr. Johnson Ponthempilly SDB and Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Ponnathu Francis SDB from our college leading the initiative. Alongside them, student representatives also took part, presenting saplings to our esteemed guest, Sri Mathi Beena Murali, reinforcing the importanceof environmental stewardship.
As we marked this significant milestone, we also took a collective oath, pledging our commitment to environmental conservation. Our theme, "Act green today for a greener tomorrow," resonated throughout the event, inspiring us to strive for a sustainable future. We vowed to nurture and protect our environment, ensuring a greener tomorrow for generations to come.
