On the occasion of World Environment Day, 2024, Government College Madappally NSS Unit and PWD Road Sub Division Vadakara jointly planted saplings. The event was officially inaugurated by Shri Shiju, Principal of the College, planting saplings. A lot of trees are cut down during development work. The event was officially inaugurated today with the aim of planting new saplings to replace the felled trees with man. In the coming days, an NSS volunteer will plant saplings on the roadsides and on the college campus to shade the next generation. PWD officers, college principal and NSS program officer spoke at the event.
