Interactive Session on Digital Marketing @ St. Thomas College (Autonomous) Thrissur


The Research Department of Commerce, St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur, in association with Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) & Innovation & Entrepreneirship Development Centre (IEDC) , organized an "Interactive Session on Digital Marketing" on 19th July 2024 at Kaviprathipha Hall. The programme aimed to provide students and faculty with practical insights into digital marketing. 

The session began with a prayer by Ms. Sibiya Rose K B, followed by a welcome speech by Dr. Divya George, Programme Coordinator. Dr. Daisland Thattil, HoD, Department of Commerce, delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the importance of digital marketing in today's business landscape.

Dr. Martin K A, Principal, inaugurated the session, highlighting the need for students to adapt to the rapidly changing digital landscape. The keynote speaker, Mr. Sahyan Amal, Business Development Manager at Doctosmart, Govt Cyberpark, Calicut, delivered an engaging session on digital marketing. He shared his expertise on various aspects of digital marketing, including social media marketing, search engine optimization, and content marketing.

The session was interactive, with Mr. Amal encouraging participants to ask questions and share their thoughts. The students and faculty benefited greatly from his practical insights and real-life examples.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Christeena Jose, Joint Coordinator. The session was well-received, and participants appreciated the opportunity to learn from an industry expert.
