Mercado, Friday Student Market for the academic year 2024-25 was a vibrant and exciting event held at Palocaren Square on August 16, 2024. The variety of items on display ranged from handmade crafts, artworks and clothes to delicious homemade snacks.It provided a platform for them to gain real-world experience in marketing and sales. Mercado also facilitated networking opportunities among students and encouraged collaboration.It encouraged them to explore their creative talents and turn them into viable businesses.
In conclusion, Mercado - Friday Student Market was a well-executed event that successfully created a vibrant and supportive community within St. Thomas College. Coordinators Mr. John Shaju and Mr.Savio Modi with the help of faculty coordinators took the initiative to conduct the event and made it a success.
