NCC unit of Christ College (Autonomous) Irinjalakuda celebrated "Tiranga 2.4", 5th year of Tiranga in association with the Independence day celebrations on 14th August, 2024 under the mentorship of ANO, Lt. Dr. Franco T Francis and led by senior cadet CSUO Aklaj A Latheef.
In the morning session, a rally was organised as part of the "Har Gar Tiranga" campaign fostering patriotism and national pride among cadets and viewers. The national flag was handed over by the vice principal, Dr Xavier Joseph to CSUO Aklaj A Latheef, inaugurating the program. A total of 90 cadets took part in the rally with national flag in their hands.
Tiranga 2.4 got full fledged with the intercollegiate competitions in the afternoon session. Intercollegiate quiz competition was conducted at the St. Chavara Multimedia Seminar hall from 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. with 42 teams partaking in it from across the state. The intercollegiate pencil drawing competition was conducted at the Students' Study Centre from 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. with 22 participants. The program concluded with a closing ceremony in which the cash prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners.
