The Psychology Fest 'Manobhava-2024' was successfully held on 8th of October, 2024. The fest, centered around the theme of Emotions, was inaugurated by our beloved principal, Dr. Fr. Martin K. A., who graced the occasion with his presence.
As a highlight of the fest, the Department of Psychology at St. Thomas College proudly launched a professional YouTube channel, Manobhava, STC, TCR. This significant event was officially inaugurated by our esteemed principal, Dr. Fr. Martin K. A., on 07-10-2024. The channel launch marked a milestone for the department, adding excitement and innovation to the event.
The fest featured various stalls representing basic human emotions including disgust, sadness, fear, anger, surprise, and happiness. Each stall provided engaging and informative displays, along with fun games, competitions, and interactive activities. The stall representing the best emotion display was awarded a prize for its outstanding contribution.
Additionally, events like Mental Odyssey (a mind maze treasure hunt), the photography competition Emotion Unframed (capturing the essence of human emotions through photography), and an e-football game made the fest even more exciting. Furthermore, food stalls, an indoor plant exhibition, nail art, face painting, a mehndi corner, and a photo booth added to the fest’s vibrant appeal.
Teachers and students from both inter- and intra-collegiate institutions visited and enjoyed the event. The fest was successfully concluded by our cherished executive manager, Fr. Biju Panegaden, with the distribution of prizes for various competitions.
